Casa Porto Cultural

A cultural project in Brazil, on the banks of the Rio de Contas, in the Bahia region. Art, education, sport and cultural exchanges.

The project

Located on the banks of the beautiful Rio de Contas, Casa Porto Cultural was born with the intention of creating a bridge of culture and knowledge exchange between Brazilian communities and European audiences. The central goal of the project is to offer free access to artistic, sporting and hands-on activities for children and adults.

Dom & Danae, Franco-Brazilian artists, are the creators of the art, education and integration project CASA PORTO CULTURAL. In 2019, they founded the Brasil Sunshine association with the goal of creating a cultural bridge between France and Brazil.

Pedra do Sabia

Pedra do Sabia is located in the heart of the Atlantic Forest, on the banks of the Rio de Contas, 18 km from Itacare in southern Bahia. It is an agroforestry farm producing organic cacao, a Private Natural Heritage Reserve (RPPN) home to exceptional biodiversity.
